JioPhone Next to be available at an introductory price of Rs 1,999, goes on sale from Diwali

Reliance says that consumers will have to pay an entry price of Rs 1,999 and the rest paid via easy EMI over 18 or 24 months.

JioPhone Next price has been revealed and it will be available for an introductory price of Rs 1,999 while consumers can pay the rest amount as monthly instalments. The company has confirmed that the budget smartphone will go on sale on Diwali, which means next week.

WhatsApp will not support these phones from November 1, check the list if you will miss out too

With the year in its final quarter, WhatsApp’s annual upgrade to its phone support is ready to roll out soon. Starting November, the chat app will withdraw supports for some of the oldest devices that currently run WhatsApp. Users of such smartphones are hence urged to upgrade their device to a new one, in order to retain their WhatsApp account. Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Saturday hit out at the central government for stripping the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir, saying it was like demoting a chief minister to the post of MLA. “Usually, UTs are upgraded to state. But in our case, state was downgraded to UT. It’s like demoting DGP to post of thanedaar, CM to MLA, and chief secretary to Patwari.
